Street Photography on Film

There’s something magical about shooting street photography on film that digital just can’t replicate. The slower pace, the anticipation of what you’ll get back, and the raw authenticity of film grain all combine to create a unique storytelling medium.

I often carry a compact 35mm camera with me — it’s discreet, reliable, and just the right weight to keep me out of the way yet ready to capture spontaneous moments.

One of my favorite subjects is candid street portraits — catching expressions and interactions that reveal something genuine about a place or its people.

The challenge of limited frames makes me slow down and really think about composition, light, and timing. It’s a mindful practice that’s very rewarding.
